Studio Mut Notebooks ✏️ Back when we where launching the studio we had in mind what it would be: a place where we could experiment, think and have fun, all while being productive and focused. That’s why after seeing many ideas vanishing on loose papers around our desks we had these notebooks made at a small local printing press. They are A4 (a lot of our editorial projects are around that size so we can sketch at 100%), roughly 60 sheets of @munkenpaper spiral bound with a blue cover. The paper quality is much better then similar notebooks you can buy, while being cheaper (and there’s nothing horrible printed in them, so that’s a bonus). Every one in our team gets as many notebooks as they need, that’s roughly 7 to 9 per designer per year, depending on how much they sketch and take notes during meetings and calls. It’s our most valuable tool for arranging thoughts, communicating sketches with the team, managing our to-do lists and... for keeping sane (we leave the notebooks at the studio, so when you close your notebook you can go home and think about other things). If you have similar “tools”, share them with us below, we’re always keen to learn. #studiomut #notebooks #journaling #paper #graphicdesign #studiolife #keepingsane #worklifebalance #organizingideas
